The microneedling procedure is aimed at stimulating microcirculation and the
natural processes of collagen, elastin and fibroblast production and regeneration.
Micro-injuries are targeted in the region of
the most prominent wrinkles or skin changes, and the wider facial skin areas.

Treatment results include: skin hydration, increased skin tone and smoothness causing existing wrinkles to be less visible and skin younger looking. Results become visible 24 hours after the procedure and shall last for a few months. The procedure is repeated up to three times 10 to 14 days apart.

What is Micro Needling?
Micro Needling, traditionally known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is undertaken through a mechanical device which helps induce the body’s natural response to trauma and kick start the repair system, therefore encouraging the creation of collagen.
How does Micro Needling work?
Micro Needling works by causing trauma to the targeted area by mechanical precision needling using 12 very fine needles into the skin. These needles can penetrate the skin at a range of depths, therefore targeting the skin deeper with precision. The depths of the needles during the treatment will vary area to area.
Micro Needling does not require injectable anaesthetic, though a topical anesthetic cream is used to make the procedure more comfortable.
It delivers targeted treatment whereby results can be seen in the first couple of days after the treatment.
Who is Micro Needling for?
Micro Needling is ideal for patients who are not keen on having non-invasive procedures and those who require more than a superficial Microdermabrasion.

Anything else I need to know about Micro Needling?
Results from this treatment are long-term. Immediately after treatment, there will be redness to the treated area and a feeling of being very warm. This redness will diminish after the first few hours. You may feel tenderness in the treated area. These responses are all normal. Within the first 24 – 48 hours, you may experience an increase in the shedding of dead skin cells. These will flake away themselves. You will need to avoid touching and rubbing the treated area.
